Luke has been working in the metal and mercury recycling industry for healthy over 10 years and has made it his career. This development of his ability set has given him the enviable position of accepting all stages of the business. Luke fits healthy within the team as he has worked with Nick, Peter and Doug for many years and established himself as a trusted and strongly customer focused team member. Peter’s 30 years in the Waste Management Industry brings to our business experience at all levels. With more than 26 years’ experience in customer service, Sandra understands the importance of professional communication and client satisfaction. Max forms piece of our particular sales team, and manages major projects and clients nationally. She brings notable sales and administration experience to AMA Eco cycle, and has a true understanding and passion for her role. It is present in fluorescent lighting, some types of dental, medical and mining waste, and in a wide range of industrial equipment. The Minamata Convention doesn’t aim to forbid the use of mercury in business, but instead aims to reduce the use of mercury in hazardous applications and to ensure that mercury is disposed of safely to keep it out of the environment. Only a small fraction of the mercury contained in fluorescent lighting, dental waste such as amalgam, and medical and industrial waste gets recycled. With the Minamata Convention, the responsibility will fall onto the businesses that generate and regulate mercury containing waste to ensure they dispose of it properly.
