Students with opportunities to collaborateshareand communicate both within and outer the college. Students the opportunity to apply their ACT capabilities to support their learning through visualizing thinking, creating and communicating across all curriculum areas. Our students are members of a generation who have a high degree of technological awareness and demonstrate a capacity to learn effectively and efficiently using technology. The College has developed a Community Garden project which is focused on providing students of all ages with the opportunity of occupied with exterior community groups for the purpose of learning, applying and sharing practical sustainability and health living skills. The buildings are based around Learning neighborhoods with creative, interactive and reflective spaces in each neighborhood. In the center of each of the neighborhoods there is a family room'. The buildings open onto outdoor learning spaces that yield excess interactive settings. An art area is also incorporated into each neighborhood. The 7 million projects includes two Learning neighborhoods incorporating art facilities, important interactive learning and teaching spaces, lecture and ingenious studios, and specialist science rooms. An administration area servicing the needs of the Middle School is based in one of the Learning neighborhoods, willing the Middle School Principal, encourage and senior staff. It consists of technology, multimedia, visual arts and senior science facilities. The learning environment supports students in building the habits of taking responsibility for directing their own learning through personal learning plans habits that will last long beyond their school years. The addition of these facilities has enabled the College to offer programs for our Year 9 students. Uniform items need to be purchased from our approved uniform supplier, MSW. Providing durable clothing that is cost effective and feasible for our College environment. Consultation through the use of a number of parent focus groups has resulted in the development of a attainable and distinctive College uniform. Students are required to wear the uniform during school hours, while transient to and from school and when engaged in school activities out of school hours. The term of office for members is two years. Half the members are needed to retire each year and this creates vacancies for the annual College Council elections. Council members also attend subcommittee meetings. Parents need an interest in their child’s education and the desire to labor in partnership with others to aid shape the College’s future. Throughout the year, Exceptional Food Days’ will take place when students will be able to purchase items not regularly available. Indeed, the canteen works closely with the College for the purpose of promoting the immediate and lengthy term health of all students.
